On World Environment Day, we spotlight Nena Ostrogovic, a CMA freelancer helping advance more sustainable practices across Abu Dhabi’s film industry.

Working as a sustainability consultant for film and television productions, Nena supports projects in adopting practical environmental solutions that reduce impact and encourage more responsible production practices.

Her work reflects the growing diversity of expertise within Abu Dhabi’s creative community and the opportunities available through CMA’s freelancer ecosystem.

بالتزامن مع اليوم العالمي للبيئة، نسلّط الضوء على نينا أوستروغوفيتش، إحدى المستقلات المسجلات في هيئة الإعلام الإبداعي، والتي تسهم في دعم ممارسات أكثر استدامة في قطاع الإنتاج السينمائي في أبوظبي.

ومن خلال عملها كمستشارة في مجال الاستدامة لقطاعي السينما والتلفزيون، تدعم نينا المشاريع في تبنّي حلول عملية تقلّل الأثر البيئي وتشجّع على ممارسات إنتاج أكثر مسؤولية.

ويعكس عملها تنوّع التخصصات التي يضمها مجتمع الإعلام الإبداعي في أبوظبي، والفرص التي تتيحها منظومة العمل المستقل التابعة لهيئة الإعلام الإبداعي.

تتواصل براتيكشا كانوجيا، مؤسسة شركة The Plot Pictures، تطوير أعمال سردية مستقلة تركّز على المواهب الإقليمية، ورواية قصص تنطلق من واقع المنطقة، وتمكين الأصوات الجديدة التي تسهم في تشكيل مشهد إعلامي أكثر تنوعاً وارتباطاً بثقافته.

كما تسلّط الضوء على أهمية الدعم والشراكات التي توفرها هيئة الإعلام الإبداعي ولجنة أبوظبي للأفلام في دعم المواهب الإقليمية وتعزيز نمو المجتمع الإبداعي في أبوظبي.

Pratixa Kanojia, the founder of independent narrative house . Through her work, she continues to develop independent narrative projects with a focus on regional talent, authentic storytelling, and empowering new voices shaping a more diverse media landscape connected to the region and its culture.

She also highlights how the support and partnerships provided by CMA and ADFC play an important role in supporting regional talent and strengthening Abu Dhabi’s creative community.

بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك، وبالتعاون مع شركة أبوظبي للخدمات الصحية «صحة»، وقناة ماجد، ومنصة قصص أبوظبي، قمنا بمشاركة فرحة العيد مع الاطفال في زيارة لمدينة الشيخ خليفة الطبية.

في هذه المبادرة الطيبة، سعينا إلى إدخال البهجة وتعزيز قيم الترابط والرعاية المجتمعية من خلال تقديم الهدايا ومشاركة اللحظات الإيجابية مع الأطفال وعائلاتهم.

In celebration of Eid Al Adha, and in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company SEHA, Majid TV, and the Abu Dhabi Stories platform, we shared the joy of Eid with children during a visit to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.

Through this initiative, we aimed to bring joy and reinforce values of connection and community care by offering gifts and sharing positive moments with the children and their families.

في إطار توسيع شبكة الشراكات في قطاع الإعلام الإبداعي، تتعاون هيئة الإعلام الإبداعي مع أنطوانيت ميديا، في خطوة تعزّز حضور أبوظبي كوجهة هامة للإنتاج السينمائي والتلفزيوني.
ومن خلال هذا التعاون، تتخذ أنطوانيت ميديا من أبوظبي مقراً لتنفيذ مشاريعها، بالتعاون مع الكفاءات العاملة في الدولة، بما يفتح المجال أمام المواهب للمشاركة واكتساب خبرات عملية.
ويأتي ذلك ضمن توجه مستمر يقوم على ترسيخ منظومة إبداعية متكاملة، تتقاطع فيها الخبرات وتُبنى على الشراكات وتُتاح من خلالها فرص نوعية.

The Creative Media Authority has entered a strategic partnership with Antoinette Media, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s role as a long term home for film and television production.

Through this collaboration, Antoinette Media will develop projects in Abu Dhabi while working closely with local professionals and supporting the growth of emerging talent. It reflects our continued commitment to building a creative ecosystem rooted in collaboration, capability, and opportunity.

مجتمع الإعلام الإبداعي، من المبدعين المستقلين والشركاء وممثلي القطاع، يجتمعون في جلسة "سيمي سيركل"، المساحة المبتكرة للحوار وتبادل الخبرات وتقديم الدعم.

بعد التعاون المشترك في تقديم جلسات ضمن المخيمات الإعلامية، هيئة الإعلام الإبداعي توقع مذكرة تفاهم مع «أنيموشن مينا» بهدف تطوير قطاع الرسوم المتحركة وصناعة المحتوى في أبوظبي.

التعاون السابق بين الجهتين ساهم في تمكين المواهب الشابة من التعرّف على أسس السرد القصصي للمنصات الرقمية، مع التركيز على مقومات الإبداع، ومهارات تطوير الشخصيات، ومبادئ تطوير وإنتاج محتوى مسؤول.

وبالبناء على نجاح هذا التعاون، تأتي مذكرة تفاهم بين هيئة الإعلام الإبداعي و«أنيموشن مينا» لتستكشف فرص توظيف التقنيات الحديثة، مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي، لتطوير منظومة إنتاج مستدامة.

Following its collaboration with Animotion MENA across recent media camps, the Creative Media Authority is expanding this relationship through a formal partnership aimed at advancing animation and content creation in Abu Dhabi.

The earlier collaboration introduced young participants to storytelling for digital platforms, with a focus on creativity, character development, and responsible content creation.

Building on this foundation, the partnership will explore new content formats, integrate emerging technologies such as AI, and support the development of a stronger, more connected production ecosystem.
