شرطة أبوظبي تحذر من رمي المخلفات من المركبات
أكدت القيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي، بالتعاون مع مركز المتابعة والتحكم، أهمية التزام السائقين ومستخدمي الطرق بالسلوكيات الحضارية التي تعكس الصورة المشرقة لإمارة أبوظبي، داعيةً إلى تجنب رمي المخلفات من المركبات أثناء القيادة حفاظاً على البيئة والصحة العامة والمظهر الحضاري للإمارة.
وأوضحت أن رمي المخلفات من المركبات يُعد مخالفة مرورية وفق المادة (71) من قانون السير والمرور، وتترتب عليها مخالفة مالية بقيمة (1000) درهم وتسجيل (6) نقاط مرورية بحق السائق المخالف.
ودعت السائقين إلى توعية الركاب المرافقين لهم بضرورة التخلص من النفايات والمخلفات في الأماكن المخصصة لها، والالتزام بالممارسات الإيجابية التي تسهم في تعزيز السلامة البيئية والمحافظة على النظافة العامة، مؤكدة أن هذا السلوك السلبي يؤدي إلى تلوث البيئة والإضرار بالمظهر الحضاري للإمارة.
وأكدت مواصلة جهودها التوعوية لتعزيز ثقافة المسؤولية المجتمعية لدى مستخدمي الطرق، والحد من السلوكيات غير الحضارية التي يرتكبها بعض السائقين نتيجة الإهمال أو عدم المبالاة، لما لها من آثار سلبية على البيئة وجودة الحياة .
The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, in cooperation with the Monitoring and Control Center, emphasized the importance of drivers and road users adhering to civilized behavior that reflects the positive image of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, calling on them to avoid littering from vehicles while driving to preserve the environment, public health, and the emirate’s civilized image.
It clarified that littering from vehicles constitutes a traffic violation under Article (71) of the Traffic Law, resulting in a fine of (1,000) AED and the accumulation of (6) traffic points against the offending driver.
Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers to educate their passengers on the importance of disposing of waste and litter in designated areas and to adopt positive practices that enhance environmental safety and maintain public cleanliness, emphasizing that such negative behavior leads to environmental pollution and harms the emirate’s civilized image.
It reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its awareness-raising efforts to foster a culture of social responsibility among road users and to curb uncivilized behaviors committed by some drivers as a result of negligence or indifference, given their negative impact on the environment and quality of life.
