‏With the 2026-2027 academic year approaching, we present the academic calendar for higher education institutions across the country, wishing our students, academic staff, and administrative staff a rewarding year and a journey filled with learning and achievement.

نواصل تطوير منظومة الابتعاث لتكون أكثر كفاءة وارتباطًا بأولويات الدولة واحتياجات سوق العمل. وفي هذا الإطار، أصدرنا قرارًا وزاريًا جديدًا ينظم شروط وضوابط وإجراءات البعثات الدراسية للطلبة المواطنين، ويعزز وضوح معايير الاختيار والمفاضلة والمتابعة، بما يدعم جودة المخرجات وكفاءة الاستثمار في الكفاءات الوطنية.

We continue to develop the scholarship system to make it more efficient and closely aligned with national priorities and labour market needs. In this context, we have issued a new Ministerial Resolution regulating the conditions, requirements, and procedures governing scholarships for Emirati students. The new Resolution strengthens the clarity and transparency of selection, comparative evaluation, and monitoring criteria, supporting higher-quality outcomes and more efficient investment in national talent.

في إطار جهودنا الرامية إلى تصفير البيروقراطية، اجتمعنا مع 86 جامعة ومؤسسة للتعليم العالي في الدولة، لمواصلة توسيع نطاق مبادرة الاعتراف التلقائي بالمؤهلات الأكاديمية والمهنية، وتعزيز التعاون بما يسهم في تقديم تجربة رقمية أكثر كفاءة وسلاسة للطلبة ومؤسسات التعليم العالي.

As part of our efforts to achieve zero bureaucracy, we met with 86 universities and higher education institutions from across the country to continue expanding the Automatic Recognition of Academic and Professional Qualifications initiative and strengthen collaboration to deliver a more efficient and seamless digital experience for students and higher education institutions.

في حديثه عن افتتاح حرم كليات التقنية العليا في مصفوت، عبّر معالي الدكتور عبدالرحمن العور، وزير الموارد البشرية والتوطين، وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي بالإنابة، عن أهمية هذه الخطوة في توسيع نطاق الوصول إلى التعليم العالي، وانسجامها مع رؤية القيادة الرشيدة في تمكين الكفاءات الوطنية.

Speaking on the opening of the Higher Colleges of Technology campus in Masfout, H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, highlighted the significance of this step in expanding access to higher education, in line with the wise leadership's vision of nurturing national talent.

في اليوم العالمي للشباب، نحتفي بطاقات الشباب وطموحاتهم، ونؤمن بدور التعليم العالي والمعرفة في تمكينهم من بناء المستقبل ومواصلة مسيرة ريادة الوطن.

On International Youth Day, we celebrate the energy and ambitions of our youth and affirm the role of higher education and knowledge in empowering them to build the future and carry forward the nation's journey of leadership.

خلال الاجتماع الثالث عشر لوزراء التعليم في مجموعة "بريكس"، والذي عقد في جمهورية الهند استعرضت دولة الإمارات رؤيتها لمستقبل التعليم. وطرحت خمس أولويات لتعزيز التعاون التعليمي بين دول المجموعة. حيث شددت على أهمية تطوير الرعاية والتعليم في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة والتعليم الأساسي، وإعداد المتعلمين لاقتصاد المستقبل، وتسريع الابتكار والاستخدام المسؤول للتقنيات الناشئة، وتعزيز الاعتراف المتبادل بالمؤهلات، والاستثمار في التميز المؤسسي وتطوير القيادات الأكاديمية.

During the 13th meeting of BRICS Education Ministers, held in the Republic of India, the UAE presented its vision for the future of education. It put forward five priorities to strengthen educational collaboration among BRICS countries, emphasising the importance of developing early childhood care and education and basic education, preparing learners for the economy of the future, accelerating innovation and the responsible use of emerging technologies, promoting mutual recognition of qualifications, and investing in institutional excellence and the development of academic leaders.
