Open Call for SOE-UAE Members | Free AI Training Program in the People's Republic of China
The Society of Engineers – UAE, in collaboration with the Chinese Society of Engineers (CSE), invites its members to apply for Session 12 – Artificial Intelligence, under the 2026 Engineering Capacity Building Program for Engineers.
The program will explore frontier AI technologies, engineering practices and industrial applications through technical reports, corporate visits, round-table forums and practical industry applications, with a focus on areas including network optimization, large-model applications and ethical compliance.

• Date: 18–23 October 2026 (including arrival & departure)
• Location: Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China
• Airport: NKG
• Organizer: Zhongxing Telecommunications
• Registration: Open
- Free for Admitted Participants -
The host organization will cover:
✅ Training fees
✅ Accommodation
✅ 3 meals per day
✅ Local transportation for official activities
✅ Airport transfers within China
Participants/employers are responsible for:
• Round-trip international airfare
• Visa fees, if applicable
• International travel insurance
• Personal expenses/additional services
- Eligibility -
Applicants must:
• Hold an active SOE-UAE membership
• Work in engineering/technical disciplines, AI, data or digital transformation
• Have at least 5 years of professional engineering experience
• Be proficient in English
• Attend the full program from 18–23 October
• Cover airfare, visa, travel insurance & personal expenses
International/cross-regional engineering experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
