شكلت قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر نقطة محورية ساهمت في تحويل الأفكار إلى شراكات فاعلة، وازدهار التعاون بين أقطاب صناعة النشر العالمية. كل الشكر للوفود المحلية والدولية التي شاركت في إثراء هذا المناخ التفاعلي النابض بالحيوية.

استضافت قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر وفوداً من 20 دولة لصياغة مستقبل قطاع النشر. نتوجه بخالص الشكر والتقدير لكافة الوفود، والمتحدثين، والشركاء الذين حضروا من شتى ربوع العالم، وكانوا جزءاً من هذا الحوار المعرفي والثقافي الملهم.

‎خلال مشاركته في قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر، أكد خالد بامحمد، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة “سماوي”، على الأهمية العالمية للقمة في ربط وتوحيد كافة الأطراف المعنية بقطاع النشر تحت مظلة واحدة، مما يسهل وصول الكتاب للقارئ.
‎كما أشاد بدور المتميز في إثراء المحتوى، مشيراً إلى التزايد الملحوظ في الطلب على الكتب الصوتية التي توفرها المكتبة ليس فقط باللغة العربية، بل وبمختلف اللغات العالمية أيضاً.

During his participation in the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit, Khaled Bamohamed, CEO of “Samawy,” highlighted the global importance of the Summit in uniting all stakeholders in the publishing sector under one umbrella, thereby facilitating reader access to books.
He also praised the distinguished role of the Mohammed bin Rashid Library in content enrichment, noting the remarkable increase in demand for Audiobooks, which the library provides not only in Arabic but also in various international languages.

شارك جوليان هونر، المدير والناشر في “تايمز آند هدسون”، في قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر، حيث قدّم محاضرة تناولت فنون الكتب المصورة، مستعرضاً أهمية هذا النوع من النشر الذي يتطلب وقتاً وجهداً كبيرين لضمان وصول الفكرة بسهولة للمتلقي واستهداف الجمهور المناسب.
وخلال المحاضرة، أشاد هونر بالدور الريادي الذي تضطلع به في تنظيم هذا الحدث المعرفي، مؤكداً أن المكتبة تُعد صرحاً معمارياً وثقافياً فريداً يوفّر قيمة كبيرة للناشرين القرّاء.



Julian Honer, Director and Publisher at Thames & Hudson, participated in the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit, where he conducted an insightful lecture on The Art of Illustrated Books.

Honer affirmed that this is not a simple industry; it requires significant time and effort. An illustrated book is not a picture describing the title, but a full integration of details to ensure the idea easily reaches the recipient and targets the appropriate audience.

He praised the role of the in organizing this massive event, and its great value to the publishing and reading community.

أكد الكاتب والناشر الإماراتي عبيد إبراهيم بوملحه أن مشاركته في قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر هي فرصة حقيقية للتعلم المستمر واكتساب المهارات من خلال التواصل مع المختصين والأكاديميين.
وبوصفه للمشاركين بأنهم “أحرف في لغة هذا الصرح العظيم”، أشاد بوملحه بدور في إتاحة الفرصة للناشرين الإماراتيين لتبادل الخبرات في أكبر ملتقى عالمي للنشر.



Emirati Author and Publisher Obaid Ibrahim Bumelha emphasized that his participation in the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit is a genuine opportunity for continuous learning and gaining skills through networking with specialists and academics.

Describing the attendees as “letters in the language of this great Landmark”, he praised the role of the Mohammed bin Rashid Library in enabling Emirati publishers to exchange expertise at the largest global publishing event.

‎الذكاء الاصطناعي، والتحول المعرفي لدى الأجيال الجديدة، وانخفاض أعداد القراء؛ هي التحديات الأبرز التي تواجه الناشرين اليوم.
شاركتنا كرم يوسف، مؤسسة ومديرة “الكتب خان”، رؤيتها حول أهمية قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر كمنصة لمناقشة هذه التحديات وإيجاد حلول فعالة لها.
كما أشادت بـ ، واصفة إياها بالصرح الثقافي الذي يضاهي أهم المكتبات العالمية بتنظيمها وتكنولوجيتها المتقدمة.


Artificial Intelligence, the generational shift in knowledge acquisition, and the decreasing number of readers are the key challenges facing publishers today.

Karem Youssef, Founder and Manager of “Kotob Khan,” shared her insights on the importance of the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit as a platform to discuss these challenges and find effective solutions.

She also praised the , describing it as a cultural hub that stands alongside the most important global libraries she has visited, thanks to its organization, valuable books, and advanced technology.

محمد العتابي، مدير "تكوين للنشر"، أكد على أهمية قمة دبي الدولية للمكتبات والنشر في صنع مستقبل مستدام لقطاع النشر.
وأوضح العتابي أن القمة هي الملتقى الأمثل لطرح القضايا الحساسة ومناقشة تحديات النشر في ظل الظروف السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية العالمية.
مشيداً بالقمة كمنصة لتبادل الخبرات بين النخبة من الناشرين والأكاديميين.



Mohammed Alattabi, Director of "Takween Publications," highlighted the importance of the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit in creating a sustainable future for the publishing sector.

He explained that the Summit is the ideal forum for addressing sensitive issues and discussing publishing challenges amidst global political, social, and economic conditions.

He commended the Summit as a platform for exchanging expertise among pioneer publishers and academics.
