MaSa Alkhair
O son!

Live your life with righteousness and goodness,

because you ultimately have to leave.

And leave behind your love and purity in the hearts of people.

And remember every small act of goodness,

because no act of goodness remains hidden from Allah.

No title or rank remains,

no position is here forever.

Just do good—

your goodness is enough as your memory.

And write this in your heart, that if there is one sentence

that expresses the ultimate truth, it is this:

"Peace and well-being ('Aafiyah) is more precious than anything in the world."

O Allah! We ask You for forgiveness, safety/well-being,

and eternal peace and well-being ('Aafiyah) in both worlds.

O people!

Even if you forget which seed you sowed on which day...

The rain will remind you where it was sown.

Therefore, scatter goodness... whether it is in any corner of the earth,

at any edge of the sky,

or in the heart of any human.

Because you do not know where and when you will find that goodness.

Do good... even if its place seems out of context or unjustified,

because goodness is never wasted.

Wherever goodness is sown,

its reward is certain—

either in this world, or in the Hereafter.

Do not sn**ch away someone's happiness,

do not break anyone's heart.

Our lives are very short...

But a beautiful imprint—

even if the one who created it is no longer around,

always remains behind.

It was asked:

"From whom did you learn manners/etiquette?"

They replied:

"From an ill-mannered person."

"Whenever I saw them do something that I disliked,

I avoided doing that thing in my own life."

A person asked the Noble Prophet ﷺ:

"Which quality of Islam is the best?"

The Holy Prophet ﷺ replied:

"That you feed food (to God's creation),

and extend greetings of peace (Salam),

to the one you know

and to the one you do not know."

MaSa Alkhair
O heart!

Why do you stand weeping before a helpless human,

when your Lord is listening to every sigh?

Tears shed before people

only become a spectacle of your helplessness,

whereas a single tear shed before God

can mend your entire destiny.

The help of worldly people is merely an illusion and a gust of wind,

which vanishes in a moment.

When you place your hopes in creation,

nothing comes to hand except regret,

but when you entrust your affair to Allah,

that very difficulty becomes a means of mercy for you.

Therefore, raise your hands only before the Independent Lord,

Because He alone is

"The One who holds the falling, and He alone is sufficient."

MaSa Alkhair
When asked about Taharat (Purity), Tawus said:

Wash your heart before your body,

and purify your tongue before your hands,

and maintain good expectations/thoughts about people.

If Allah has given you two eyes,

then why do you look at people through your ears?

(meaning: why do you judge people based on hearsay?)

Treat people as you see them with your own eyes,

not as you hear about them with your ears.

It is not obligatory upon you to please everyone,

but it is certainly necessary that you do not cause harm or pain to anyone.

May Allah grant us and you purity of the heart. Ameen!
