Giving that comes straight from the heart to reach everyone contributing to the progress of our community. Through the Al Fereej Fridge initiative, we are delighted to distribute coolers in appreciation of their ongoing efforts and to see the smiles that fuel our positive energy.

من غرس قيم العطاء في نفوس أجيال المستقبل، إلى إدخال السرور على قلوب من يبنون حاضرنا.
نظمنا ضمن مبادرة "ثلاجة الفريج" ورشة توعوية ومسابقات تفاعلية لطلاب مدرسة أم سقيم للبنين، واختتمنا يومنا في الميدان بتوزيع المبردات على العمال لدعمهم وتخفيف حر الصيف عنهم.
From instilling the values of giving in future generations to bringing joy to those who build our present.
As part of the Al Fereej Fridge initiative, we organized an awareness workshop and interactive competitions for the students of Umm Suqeim Boys School, and concluded our day in the field by distributing coolers to workers to support them and help them beat the summer heat.

من خلال منح الغذاء حياةً جديدة، نُسهم في بناء مستقبل أكثر استدامة للقطاع الزراعي.

استكمالًا للنجاح الذي حققته مبادرة ‘Recycle Re-life’ خلال شهر رمضان، تعاونت نعمة مع بنك الإمارات للطعام وشركة ريلوب لدعم المزارعين في منطقة حتا، من خلال استكمال دورة الغذاء وتحويل الفائض إلى موردٍ ذي قيمة. وقد جرى تحويل بقايا الطعام التي جُمعت خلال شهر رمضان إلى سماد زراعي عالي الجودة، بما يسهم في دعم القطاع الزراعي المحلي وتعزيز مبادئ الاقتصاد الدائري.

فخطوة بسيطة اليوم يمكن أن تُحدث أثرًا بيئيًا مستدامًا، وتؤكد أن قيمة الغذاء لا تنتهي بانتهاء الوجبة.

By giving food a second life, we’re helping create a more sustainable future for agriculture.

Building on the success of the Ramadan ‘Recycle Re-life’ initiative, ne’ma, the UAE Food Bank, and Reloop have joined forces to support farmers in Hatta by closing the loop on food waste. Processed food waste collected during Ramadan has been transformed into high-quality agricultural fertilizer, helping strengthen the local agricultural sector and advance a circular economy.

One simple action can create lasting environmental impact, proving that food’s value doesn’t end when the meal does.

في قلب الخوانيج تتجدد معاني الأصالة والعطاء. ضمن مبادرة خرايف الرطب تشرفنا في بنك الإمارات للطعام بزيارة كبار المواطنين في نادي ذخر لمشاركتهم بشاير القيظ وأطيب ثمار النخيل، في أجواء تعكس تقديرنا العميق لبركة الدار وحرصنا على ترسيخ قيم التلاحم المجتمعي.

In the heart of Al Khawaneej the true meanings of authenticity and giving are renewed. As part of the Kharayef Al Ratab initiative the UAE Food Bank had the honor of visiting senior citizens at Thukher Club to share the summer harvest and the finest dates. The visit took place in an atmosphere that reflects our deep appreciation for the elders of our community and our commitment to fostering social cohesion.

اختلفت الأذواق حول النوع المفضل من الرطب لكنها اتفقت على حب هذا الإرث الأصيل.
سألنا الحضور في مجلس البرشاء عن اختياراتهم، وشاركناهم لحظات مليئة بالود والذكريات الجميلة التي تجعل من موسم الرطب مساحة استثنائية للتلاقي ومشاركة خيرات مجتمعنا.


Tastes differed on the favorite type of Rutab but they agreed on the love for this authentic legacy.
We asked the attendees at Al Barsha Council about their choices, and shared with them moments filled with affection and beautiful memories that make the Rutab season an exceptional space for gathering and sharing our community’s bounties.
