ASQA and Iron Smelting Factories Union Emphasize Strengthening Cooperation and Elevating Domestic Production Quality
Honorable Mullah Abdullah Haji Bashir, Director General of the Standard and Quality Authority (ASQA), met with Chief Alhaj Farwiz Khajazada of the Iron Smelting Factories Union and representatives at his office to discuss reinforcing bilateral cooperation, enforcing standards, and enhancing the quality of domestic industrial output.
During the meeting, which was attended by senior ASQA officials, both parties underscored the imperative of adhering to standard requirements throughout manufacturing processes, noting its pivotal role in raising product quality, backing local production, and instilling consumer confidence.
Meanwhile, representatives from the Iron Smelting Factories Union expressed satisfaction with current standard implementation efforts and requested further support and cooperation from ASQA to boost production quality and streamline standardized procedures across manufacturing plants.
ASQA leadership highlighted the strategic role of the iron smelting sector in meeting domestic market demand and driving industrial growth. They reiterated their commitment to sustained collaboration with factories and industrial unions, assuring that ASQA will continue to provide necessary support in drafting, promoting, and enforcing national standards to elevate domestic production.
The Union representatives likewise pledged increased cooperation with ASQA in formulating, promoting, and implementing quality standards relevant to the iron smelting industry.
