No matter your political affiliations, we need to speak the truth as is… Not because you back a “party” means that you ought to defend when you see them do wrong or something that won’t enhance the lives of the people of this country.

We are too quick to become “loyalists” and not “realists”. I think we need more raw minded people in politics that just talks the raw truth and not sugar coat anything just to make you feel good.

We need people in politics who have a heart and their conscience still in tact. We need people who do it for the love of people and not for the love of money.

We as a people need to understand that the power of the government lays within the index finger of the people; you the people vote and give them a job. If they don’t perform, do what’s right and just and be the boss of your own affairs and fire them.

There’s both good and bad in all of the political parties on this land; you have to be the sole judge of character and you ought to make your own judgement…

In Antigua, we need to head back to the drawing books and optimize a different style of politics that’s more effective than what we’ve got.

Both sides of the parliament floor has something to offer, and if we learn to work together, whether in power or in opposition, we can honestly equip this land into the real powerhouse that we all want to see.

Greed and selfishness and “friend and company” ain’t getting us anywhere. We have so many untapped facets of industries to tap into and we need to come together to harness the opportunities that will present themselves.

The youths would not be frowned upon, the lesser educated shouldn’t be shoved aside, the lowest of the classes shouldn’t be overlooked either. We all have a role to play in this society, and to do it, we gotta find a way to work together.

In my honest opinion, politics is scary and sometimes disturbing, but it honestly doesn’t phase me, I honestly think I’m built for it…

I’m down to do the real work, for no pay, with all sides of the political sphere in my community and constituency, with any and everyone who wishes to take up my offer.

It brings me great joy and relief to see the Swetes Basketball and Netball courts resurfaced. Thanks to the Sandals Foundation, Kablinee Superflexx Knight and everyone else who played a pivotal role in its development.

The foundation has been laid once again for talents to be harnessed in our community.

Warm greetings to you my supporters and well wishers. I’ve written this release to inform you that I have officially tendered my resignation with The Democratic National Alliance (DNA). We make tough decisions on a daily basis, and today was no different.

Nevertheless, I’d first like to say thank you to the leader Joanne Massiah and my former colleagues for believing in me and introducing me into elective politics. Thank you to my supporters and well wishers for the positivity given to me even in the toughest times as well.

I remain steadfast to a mission to deliver on behalf of the people of this country, communities and the youths at large. The next move with regard to being in the political arena is quite unknown at this time but trust and believe that I am not finished just yet. However, I’ll be taking the time now to work on personal developments.

I could only hope that you’d understand my position and continue to support the great works that are to come.
