ADPA Launches “ADPA@20” Campaign at Mining Indaba 2026 🎉

The African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) today officially launched its ADPA@20 campaign at the 2026 Mining Indaba, marking the organisation’s 20th anniversary. ADPA will be celebrating two decades of African diamond producers' cooperation and collaboration, progress, and leadership in the global diamond industry. This event was launched under a theme:

ADPA PARTICIPATES IN THE KIMBERLEY PROCESS PLENARY 2025
The Executive Director, Mrs. Ellah Muchemwa, led a delegation of the African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 15 to 22, 2025.
During the Kimberley Process (KP) Plenary, discussions centred on the definition of conflict diamonds. ADPA presented a consolidated compromise text proposing an expanded definition that includes text on diamond communities, developed during the intersessional period. This proposal will be a key point of debate at the Plenary, and ADPA looks forward to building consensus around it.
