Built on the success of 2025, Outback Wilderness Response is back in 2026 with our most practical and immersive Wilderness Medicine courses yet.

This is not classroom medicine.

Join OWR in the West MacDonnell Ranges for a hands-on wilderness medicine experience designed for doctors, paramedics, nurses, rescue workers, park rangers, tour guides, outdoor professionals and anyone who may need to manage real emergencies when help is a long way off.

Across the course, you will work through realistic remote-area scenarios involving:

Outback Wilderness Response is running a 3-day Wilderness Medicine Course in the West MacDonnell Ranges for people who work, guide, respond or lead in remote and outdoor environments.

This course is built for tour guides, outdoor educators, park rangers, rescue volunteers, mine and remote-site workers, expedition leaders, medics, nurses, paramedics and anyone who may need to manage an emergency when help is a long way away.
