I will always look after our River systems. The Platypus Alliance in Bacchus Marsh work hard to make sure their home; our River system is protected. My motion in Council helped sediment to be directed from flowing into our River. Developments need to make sure sediment does not enter and destroy our river systems. Platypus habitat does not need sediment run off entering their food and living areas or they are at risk of becoming extinct.

Most importantly, we have a great community. No matter what part of Moorabool you call home - whether it is in our larger growth areas - we have a vibrant community. I will continue to work towards building strong local communities with well planned neighbourhoods whilst maintaining Moorabool's Rural Charm. Some of Councils achievements this last four years: Ballan Splash Park. Gordon and Ballan Skate Parks. All Abilities Playground at Bacchus Marsh Racecourse Recreation Reserve. Significant road and pathway infrastructure. Aqualink walk and bike track in Bacchus Marsh. Commencing New Library for Ballan. Bald Hill Stage 3 in Darley. Opening of Marc Stadium. Darley Park Pavilion. Opening of 1000 Steps, Opening of Sculpture Park in Darley. You can look forward to more planned build in the next four years."

I live in Moorabool with my partner and have done for 25 years. Extended family live in Moorabool. I have volunteered in Moorabool for over 20 years on a school board, a community business group and local tourism group. Your needs are important. Let me continue to be your community voice.

Peri Urban Council Victoria has been an important part of my work in Council over the last three years as Deputy Chair. We have been strongly advocating for a future fund to Ministers and Shadow Ministers at both State and Federal Levels. Moorabool is one of the fastest growing Shires in Victoria and Australia. Bacchus Marsh and Ballan are our two Peri Urban towns. New developments need to provide well connected roads, community centres, kindergartens, schools , digital connectivity etc.,before we dump large developments in our communities. A future fund will provide infrastructure build before these developments occur. You know it makes sense.
