DOLLY PARTON - The world has lost a truly special soul.

Dolly Parton gave us so much through her music, her humour and her larger-than-life personality. But beyond all the sparkle was a woman with an incredible heart and a genuine desire to make life better for others.
Dolly understood something very simple — having success means little if you can't use it to help someone else.
Through her Imagination Library, she helped millions of children experience the joy of receiving books and discovering the magic of reading.
But her generosity didn't stop there. She supported families and communities, helped people through difficult times, invested in education and research, and continually opened doors of opportunity for others.
What makes her legacy so powerful is that she never seemed to forget where she came from. She knew what it meant to struggle, and she understood the importance of giving people a hand up.
She showed us that kindness isn't about how much you have — it's about what you're willing to give.
A kind word. A helping hand. An opportunity. A little hope.
Kindness costs nothing, but can mean everything to someone.❤️
Dolly believed people deserved to be treated with dignity and compassion, and she used her incredible platform to put that belief into action.
She didn't just entertain people.
She inspired people. She encouraged people. She helped people. And she reminded us that we can all make a difference.

The bugs have certainly hit hard in our household over the past few weeks, and unfortunately the school holidays haven't been quite as enjoyable as we'd hoped. The flu has swept through like wildfire, and some of our family members are still on the road to recovery.
Despite that, there's been plenty to smile about. Our community book library has continued to welcome a steady stream of visitors, which has been wonderful to see.
Our amazing Touch Of Hope youth volunteers have been busy restocking the shelves and have loved chatting with those stopping by. Today the library received another huge restock, with lots of fresh titles for readers of all ages.
If you're looking for your next great read, pop by and take a look. Here are just a few of the books waiting to find their new homes. Happy reading! 📚💚
