Cette semaine, Qantas a marqué l’histoire du transport aérien en opérant le plus long vol jamais réalisé.

L’ Airbus A350-1000ULR a effectué un vol d’essai aller-retour entre Toulouse et Melbourne en un temps record de 24 heures et 24 minutes !

Cette liaison renforce les échanges entre nos deux pays en favorisant le tourisme, les relations économiques et la coopération dans le secteur aéronautique. ✈️

🔥Watch for travel disruptions. Wildfires can affect roads, rail services, airports and local infrastructure.
🔥Take smoke seriously. Poor air quality can affect anyone, especially people with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

If you're heading north:
🔥 Be informed. Know if your destination is battling fires or if the country is at risk.
🔥 Be prepared. Keep your valuables and emergency supplies close at hand.
🔥 Know what to do if you have to evacuate. When to leave, who to contact, how to stay up to date.
🔥 Know how to stay safe after the fire passes. Check for hazards wherever you're going.

Smoke and ash from a wildfire can impact air quality and make it dangerous. If your location is impacted by smoke, stay inside as much as possible. If you have breathing difficulties, carry your medication with you.

✈️ Dans le ciel de l'Australie, 21 nations se réunissent pour l'exercice Pitch Black 2026 organisé par la Royal Australian Air Force.

Avec 2 500 personnels et 100 aéronefs engagés, cet exercice multinational constitue une occasion unique de développer l'interopérabilité, de renforcer les capacités opérationnelles et de consolider les partenariats qui contribuent à la sécurité de l’Indo-Pacifique.

On Bastille Day, Australia was honoured to be represented on the Champs-Élysées parade by members of the Australian Defence Force.

At the invitation of President Macron, representatives from the 35 nations of the Coalition of the Willing joined the Bastille Day parade as a demonstration of support for Ukraine. Australia had the honour of leading the international contingent.
