Earthy Neurodivergents first camp at Pabs Place is done and it was FABULOUS 🏕️🦆🐾🐣🌭♾️💚

This small group of neurokin spent the weekend together with zero social issues in sight.

We worked together (and they even blamed the GPS instead of me when we took the ‘scenic route’ to Mt French 🧭😂).

🏕️ Set up and packed down camp for 14 people

🍔 Cooked our food on the camp fire including s’mores for everyone. 😋

👩‍🍳Lunch at Dugandan Hotel and the ‘Kissing Booth’ for missy T. 💋😂

🐾 Yabby hunting and fishing with Joel 🍤🎣

👩‍🌾 Egg candling, chicken, duck, pig, cow, dog and goat cuddles with Farmer Tink Mcmullen

💚 Friendships were made and skills organically developed. ♾️💜

Come as you are-messy mornings, big feelings, sensory needs, prams, snacks and meltdowns.

Our playgroup is a welcoming space for families with children aged 0–5 who are neurodiverse, have a disability, or have siblings who are neurodiverse or disabled. A place to connect, play, feel understood, and be surrounded by families who get it.

No pressure. No judgement. Just community, support, and a safe place to belong.

The playgroup will be located in North Lakes.

Bronnie after years of feeling like no one got the struggles that she had parenting a child with a disability and seeing that happening to other parents years after her little one no longer is in a playgroup has decided to help create that village she wished she always had!

Please share this with your communities so mums, dads, caregivers and relatives raising children who are neurodiverse or have a disability can find their village-if they haven’t already.

Sometimes the right people just need help finding each other.

Thanks for this Nature Based Therapy

There is a sound older than language.

Before words, before stories, before the nervous system learned to stay alert to survive… there was vibration.

Humming.

Bees hum to pollinate life.
Hummingbirds hum while hovering in stillness.
Humans hum to soothe, regulate, and reconnect.

Research now shows that humming can support the nervous system by slowing the breath, stimulating the vagus nerve, reducing stress, and creating a felt sense of safety within the body.

Maybe healing is not always something we think our way into.
Maybe sometimes it begins with vibration.
With rhythm.
With breath.

A soft hum.
A hand on the chest.
A moment of returning home to ourselves.

Hum like the bee.
Hover like the hummingbird.
Heal like the body knows how.
