It’s all happening at Earthy Neurodivergents HQ this morning. ♾️🤩🌈

Welcome to the Earthy Fam, Herobrine and Oreo, two gorgeous little green tree frogs so kindly donated by our beautiful community member Briony Rafter and her boys. Thank you lovely people! 🐸🐸

Jyah Waaka channeled his Barista skills on the coffee machine and created some coffee art on his first try. ☕️

Our Earthy Tuesday team explored, played hide and seek and fed the frogs.

Join us at our beautiful, plant filled space at Lawnton every Wednesday.

We have a fully stocked craft space, including:

🌀 Resin (for earrings, key rings etc)
🌀 Cyanotype Printing
🌀 Jewellery making (imprint machine + more).
🌀 Badge making
🌀 Crochet class
🌀 Photography

And we welcome your ideas!

Happy Sunday Earthy Neurodivergents 🌈🍃☀️

It’s that time of year where we start prepping (and getting excited) for the The Christmas Party Brisbane

Our team are running the Sensory Space again this year which (if you haven’t been along to an event) is a space separate to the main hall where parents, children, carers, anyone who needs some time out, can come for a while to reduce the sensory input of the main space. This year (thanks to some pretty awesome organisers) we can spread out over two areas so double the space! 🙌

This event is the highlight of some little people’s year and the excitement in the room is palpable.
As we know, for some ND people, this excitement can turn to overwhelm in a split second.

I’ve been working with the management team for a few years now and they have always gone above and beyond to support our sensory needs and this year they have, once again, developed another layer of support.

There will be Sensory Tents near the entrance so anyone who is overwhelmed at the start can go in here to decompress a little and then either join the activities in the main space or make their way up to us in the main Sensory Room. 🎧♾️😎

For this to be successful, we need VOLUNTEERS. 🤩 🙌💓
