For more than 60 years, Newcastle Meals on Wheels has been helping people in our local community remain independent, connected and safe in their own homes.
Since 1963, this incredible local organisation has delivered nutritious meals to older Australians, people living with disability and carers across Newcastle and surrounding areas.

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙤 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙. ❤️

Every delivery can provide something just as important — a friendly face, a conversation and a regular wellbeing check. For many people living alone, that regular social connection can make a huge difference.

Today, Newcastle Meals on Wheels delivers more than 𝟯𝟱𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 each year to over 𝟭,𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, supported by an amazing team of dedicated volunteers. 🙌

👥 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗦 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘
