QCOSS welcomes the news that QSAN (Queensland Sexual Assault Network) has been funded to establish a new peak body representing Queensland sexual violence victims.

This was one of the recommendations of the Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce and one of our Queensland Budget asks.

As the interim peak body for the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) sector, we commend the Queensland Government and the Honourable Minister Amanda Camm MP for this step and look forward to continuing to work with the sector as we strive to end violence against women and children.
