The Everingham Rotating House is situated approximately 40 kilometres from Wingham NSW, in the hinterland of the Manning Valley on the Nowendoc River, comprising pristine rapids and deep water with mountains rising directly above the river. Built largely of glass and steel, and powered by an electric motor “not much bigger than a washing machine motor”, the Everingham Rotating House is a brilliant

testimonial to the ingenuity of its owner/builders. It also encapsulates many aspects of ecologically sound building principles, such as optimising natural light and heat, while rotating 360° to take advantage of sunshine and shade at different times of the day and year.

Our beautiful property is host to a unique event over the October Long Weekend 2nd to 5th October 2015 "Longview Farm Party" -

it is a 4 day camping event with loads of live entertainment / massive waterslide for the kids and a beautiful riverside property to camp (tent or caravans welcome) / espresso van / BBQ fund raiser for local rural fire brigade / fireworks / Yoga / Belly dancing workshops / Drumming workshops. It is a great event and limited tickets available - school age children with parents are free. We have an amenities block (hot showers and toilets) - so over all it is a great unique event that is loved by so many.

Wow!!!!!! The Everingham Rotating House has just been selected to be filmed fora United Kingdom Channel 4 documentary on the top 10 unique houses of the world. Filming this Tuesday and Wednesday. Cheers, Luke Everingham.

The Living Room / Ch 10 spent a couple of days at Everingham Rotating House last week filming with Barry the builder for an episode that will be broadcast next February. It was an interesting couple of days. We look forward to seeing the finished product. Cheers, Luke Everingham
