Today I joined my colleagues Yasmin Catley MP and Tim Crakanthorp MP along with the UGL Transport team for a site tour of their Broadmeadow plant.

Great employer for over 100 years, building and repairing our trains right here in the Hunter.

Incredible local success story that has trained and employed thousands of apprentices over the years. Thanks for having us on site team.

Yesterday we turned the first sod for the public preschool at my old school Cessnock Public School.

The new public preschool will provide high-quality play-based educational program. It will feature specially designed rooms and a quality outdoor play area. Construction of the preschool is expected to be completed in time for Day 1 Term 1 2027.

This public preschool is part of the Minns Labor Government's plan to help bring down costs for families, improve access to early education and give our kids the best start in life.
