Happy Father’s Day to all our Kindy dads.

We recently got to know more about our Kindy dads from the children and thought we would share some of their feedback.

Did you know that our Kindy dads range in age from 4 to 91, some work in an office, teach, build, design, put our fires, help sick people, organise concerts, make money and flying cars or simply just work a lot!

We hope you are all spoilt today with lots of love and some of your favourite foods; be this chicken, spicy dumplings, vegetables, olives, fish, cereal, potatoes, chili, cake or just a little bit of everything.

Thank you Sturt Football Club for visiting our Kindy - the children had the most amazing time.

Football is about more than what happens on the field, it’s about connecting with our community and inspiring the next generation.

Sturt’s First Kick program visited Clarence Park Community Kindergarten for a fun-filled introduction to football, with plenty of smiles, activities and Double Blue spirit!

A big thank you to Monica Partridge from the SANFL, Sturt player Sophie Thredgold and our much-loved mascot Bluey for helping make the visit so special.

Thank you also to Clarence Park Community Kindergarten for welcoming us and helping spread the word about Sturt, football and the importance of being active in our local community.

We loved sharing the morning with you!

Term 1, 2027 enrolment offers for children who reside within our local catchment area have been emailed to families over the weekend.
Families residing outside of our catchment area have also been contacted in relation to waitlist opportunities. If you have not received email correspondence, please contact the Kindy.

If you reside within our local catchment area and have not as yet registered for your child to commence kindergarten in Term 1, 2027 please contact us ASAP.

Families interested in registering for mid-year 2027 (or beyond) can lodge a Registration of Interest any time in the coming months - details are available via our website https://clarenpkgn.sa.edu.au/enrolment/

Enrolment priority is given to families who reside within our preschool catchment area however we warmly welcome enquiries and registrations from all families, including those living outside our local catchment area.

Wishing all the children in our Kindy community starting kindergarten and school this week all the very best for their first day. We know you will all do amzing things!

A week of mixed emotions at Kindy as we unfortunately said goodbye to all our chickens after they were killed over the weekend, potentially by a fox entering their enclosure.
We are so proud of our Kindy children with the compassion they displayed and how they supported each other and our staff team as we all grieved the loss of our chickens. We also spent time reflecting on the joy they bought to us all with the children creating wonderful artworks of our chickens. 💔

Volunteers are incredibly valuable to our kindergarten community; we are thankful to all who give of their time to share knowledge and skills with the children, assist on excursions, help maintain our Kindy grounds, pick-up or return creatures to Nature Ed, join a roster or are part of our Governing Council.
