Do you want some free mulch before Summer is here?

City of Belmont are recycling natural resources back into local gardens by offering free mulch to residents at the start of October, with just a few rules:

- One trailer load per household
- Proof of residency needed
- Bring a tarpaulin to cover the mulch (WA transport law)

Thanks for a great, Meet & Greet in the sunshine this morning. Overall the feedback was so positive and it was lovely to meet so many new faces.

The area was really pumping, thanks to Belmont Netball Association, and the presence of community Watch and police was really appreciated. Wishing you all an amazing Sunday 🌞

HUGE shout out to the members of the World Mission Society church on Hehir St, who gave up their Sunday morning to pick up litter and discarded plastics from our parkland and river in Ascot Waters and Rivervale.

They were with visiting Korean students from ASEZ, helping to keep our river safe for wildlife.

Sayōnara to our Adachi Student delegation.

What an honour to meet these smart, kind, talented children. Wishing them all a safe flight back to Japan tonight.

Our own students and families from Belmont looked after them so well, and made us all so proud 👏🏻

Keep an eye out for applications opening for our next delegation of students heading over to Japan in January 2027 ❤️🤍
