This year marks 20 years as an Authorised celebrant. 🥂

I never get tired of it.
I never get tired of seeing couples in love.
I never get tired of the excitement.
I never get tired of seeing their lives unfold after the wedding day.
I never get tired of the happy tears and laughter.
I never get tired of the first time the groom sees the bride.
I never get tired of coming up with new ideas and ways to do things.
I never get tired of the beautiful venues I get to see.
I never get tired of the wonderful vendors I have met and worked with.
I never get tired of the joy and happiness.

I applied for a job in the wedding industry recently. They told me I didn't have enough experience.
I laughed, because I've got 20 years of experiences. 😉

What a day!
Congratulations to Gorgeous Victoria and her handsome new Hubby Glen as they continue their journeys as a married couple.

Love was definitely in the air, the weather stayed perfect, the venue was sublime and the views will make for spectacular wedding photos.

Glen and Victoria both had such beautiful vows, there wasn't a dry eye. Some things come to us later in life, and perfection was worth waiting for.

Thank you for including me in your special day, may the sun of many days shine down upon you both xx

From the Bay to the Valley - Bachelorette to Ceremony. It's so exciting!

A little over a year ago, I was honoured to perform a handfasting for Ollie and Jayne in their home. It was a lovely, intimate day for 2 wonderful, kind and talented people.
I am sad to say the Ollie has passed over to Valhalla after a warriors battle against MSA (Multiple System Atrophy), however not before he and Jayne were able to legally become husband and wife.

There is sadness in loss, but I still see the love that was evident between Jayne and Ollie, a love that defies death.

May the Morrigan wrap her wings around Jayne as she grieves her loss. Remind her what an amazing woman she is. Reward her for her selfless acts of devotion, kindness and Love, for she deserves every good things that comes to her. Give her strength to draw on endlessly, and may Ollie reach through the veil to reassure her he is well and with friends on the other side.
His will be the face she sees when her time to journey comes. His will be the hand she holds, and his will be the smile that warms her.

Rest well Ollie, you left a great gift of your creativity in the world. The music world is better for your influence.
