📣📣📣MOTHERS OF BOYS - FATHERS - BROTHERS - MATES- EVERYONE!
** REACHING MEN SU***DE PREVENTION TRAINING
THURSDAY 14TH OF MAY - HOBART**
Theresa here 👋
How has your day been?
I have had a lovely day. This is, according to me, just the best weather.
Nice and cool and yet the soil is still warm so as an avid gardener, plant, plant, plant!
Today I ACTUALLY crossed the street and took cuttings from a neighbour's rose. The blooms are next level fragrant and so just the thing for cooking. I have been meaning to do this for a while so I am feeling very proud of myself for putting some cuttings into a good mix of sand and perlite in a wee pot.
I also planted an apple tree, took cuttings of a viburnum and more!
Once I get started on all the little things the momentum builds BUT far out it can me hard to make a start. Do you find that? But when you do 😍
Anyway, I have cut and pasted some info on a Men's Su***de Workshop which looks just fabulous.
Here ya go 👇
Cross your fingers and toes for my cooking rose to strike!🤞

"It’s exciting times at MRT. You’ve probably heard me say it already, but there is so much happening. We’re in the process of finalising our grant deed with the TPS, to formally commit to our funded Building Pathways program. More news to come on this soon. We’ve had a fantastic response to our call for mentors, and we have room for a few more.
Our amazing Board and other volunteers are putting in serious time, and passion evidenced by many of the activities you’ll read about below.
We also have our next Community Conversation in just a couple of weeks. And then we’re all in for ‘What’s Working’ our Inaugural Men’s Health Forum on 10 June (see below). We hope to see as many of you as we can fit into the room - space is limited, but we’ve still got some! We’ll soon be convening a working group for our International Men’s Day Breakfast, and it looks like we may have already secured some significant sponsorship. Get in touch if you’d like to be a part of the working group.
Grab a cuppa and check out our news, and other resources and information we’ve pulled together for this edition. Thanks to the whole team for all the amazing work being done.
