We’re proud to shine a light on Steel Chicks partner, ArcStructural, who have again supported us throughout the year.

The Steel Chicks Work Experience Program connects Year 10–12 students with businesses across the industry, giving them the chance to experience real workplaces, build practical skills, and see where a career in trades or professional roles could take them.

For students, placements provide:
– Meaningful, structured exposure to industry
– Insight into real day-to-day operations
– Opportunities to build confidence and practical skills
– Connections with employers and potential career pathways

For businesses, hosting a student is an opportunity to:
– Meet and engage with potential future talent early
– Give students a genuine insight into your industry and workplace
– Support a structured placement with resources and guidance from Steel Chicks
– Help build a stronger, more diverse future workforce

We’re looking for more businesses to open their doors and give students a chance to experience our industry first-hand. If you’re a fabricator, manufacturer, contractor, or another business in the supply chain, your workplace could be the starting point for someone’s future career.
