To all our service users,

First let me assure you that weeks ago we made practical steps to protect all the vulnerable people we work with.

We have all our staff currently following a crisis response plan.

This includes ensuring an increased monitoring of all clients’ health and well-being.

We have given a directive to all staff to ensure they remove themselves from work when sick and have suitable arrangements made for any workers who may present sick during the course of their work, in accordance with the best medical advice available at the time of writing to you.

We also have an increase in hygiene protocols and practices, again in accordance with the best public health advice available at the time of writing. Furthermore, we are working with individual clients to support any special needs and requirements to maintain their health and wellbeing and to support the safety of our work force.

I accept we cannot plan for every eventuality but feel that we already have made concerted efforts to do our part to minimise the spread of COVID-19. We have made the extraordinary step to stop all non-essential transport, social gatherings and outings and have closed all our community-based programs to ensure we can limit the risk of person to person spread in our communities.
