There are moments when listening becomes a form of action.

Join us at The Landing at for an intimate lunch with internationally renowned human rights lawyer Jennifer Robinson () — and recently announced as the 2026 Sydney Peace Prize laureate, recognised ‘for her commitment to international law and her dedication to upholding and promoting human rights including free speech, press freedom, and gender and climate justice.’

From defending WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, acting for Amber Heard, securing political asylum for West Papuan leader Benny Wenda, and taking climate change to the International Court of Justice, Jennifer has become one of the defining legal voices of our time.

In conversation with award-winning journalist Emma Alberici, Jennifer will unpack silence, power, justice, and what it takes to challenge systems designed to protect us.

As the very first instalment of The Changemaker Series: It Takes Courage to Change the Course, in collaboration with , this timely conversation comes in the final days of Domestic Violence Prevention Month, with proceeds supporting programs for women impacted by domestic violence and homelessness.

Guests will enjoy:
— A three-course lunch
— Audience Q&A
— Book signing opportunity

A rare opportunity to hear from one of the world’s most fearless advocates for justice.

“Acknowledging self-worth is often one of the biggest struggles women face when they arrive at our service. Of course, they face many other challenges such as DFV, homelessness, financial insecurity, etc - but the biggest hurdle is self-worth. We see our women deserve a life worth living, but sometimes the biggest piece of work is for them to learn they do too.

When we are able to provide opportunities to show women that they’re worthy of receiving love, care, kindness, it can have a considerable impact. For that little part of their life, for that small moment, while they’re eating that meal or wrapped up in that blanket…it’s awesome.

And they get to leave our place knowing they’ve experienced those lovely things because they were worthy of them…and because other people (who don’t know them) believed they were worthy, too.”

- Community Service Partner receiving our B1G1 Two Good Throws

Two warm hugs, for two women who deserve them. With every Buy1, Give 1 Marina-Strone Heirloom Throw, another is donated to women living in crisis.

Before we make our dreams come true, we have to allow ourselves to dream in the first place.

Just in case you needed to hear it today; you are worthy of dreaming big.

Today, we honour the matriarchs. Sending love and gratitude to all the mothers and mother figures out there - including those living in crisis with their little ones, or those feeling the distance from their families today.

No matter what this day means for you, remember - we see you, we love you, you matter.

“The day I got kicked out was the same day I signed the lease for my transitional housing, through the Doorways Youth Program, who help young people experiencing a housing crisis. Had I not signed that lease, I wouldn’t have had a roof over my head.

I was referred to Two Good by my caseworker, when she found out I loved to cook. It was like I’d finally found a place of comfort. Meeting my Work Work group was so great; I was amazed to find a group of women I actually connected with. That had never happened before.

I even got to experience having a ‘work mum’. To have a mother figure within the group was…I don’t even have the words. Talking to her and having her listen, sharing stories…it just made me realise she was a proper mum, to me.

These days, I have my very own place - that I saved up for myself! I don't have to walk on eggshells anymore. I feel so much more independent; I'm ready to let the whole world know who I am. I’ve blossomed.

I had a counsellor who once told me, ‘You've got a lot of strength’. He said, ‘I see you as a warrior, not a survivor’.

I’m starting to see that, too.”

- Larissa, Alumni

Here’s to the family we choose to surround us with, the legacies we choose to carry, and the cycles we choose to break. Sending extra love this week to all who are healing their inner child, and to all the mother figures with extra room under their wings.
