Have you met our amazing Youth Worker, Dom?

If you've ever wondered what she gets up to around Darra State School, the answer is...quite a lot!

From supporting our staff and students, to building positive connections, tunning fun competitions and creating exciting opportunities, Dom plays a big part in making our school a place where everyone feels welcome, included and supported.

This Term, Dom has also launched our Before School Clubs!

Our gates open at 8.30am, giving students the chance to start their day with fun, friendship and activities before the bell.

We encourage all students o come along, give something new a try, and start their morning the best way possible.

We can't wait to see you there! 💙

Don't forget that your Back-To-School Boost can be used to pay for upcoming excursions.

Approval only needs to be given once, and your invoice will automatically be paid in full or partly using the Boost.

Most families filled out this form at the beginning of the year, but if you are unsure, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Join us tomorrow morning for our Park and Stride event at Ducie Street Park! 🌳
🕣 Start Time: We’ll begin walking at 8:30am sharp.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supervision: If students arrive before 8:30am, they must be supervised by a parent or guardian until staff arrive.
🎨 Dress Code: Don’t forget to wear your NAIDOC colours to celebrate and show your support!
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, get active, and honour the spirit of NAIDOC Week. We can’t wait to see you there!
