There has been lots of exciting learning happening in 5/6B!
In Writing and Reading, students have been developing their historical informative writing skills by researching and presenting information about the past in clear and engaging ways. Our book clubs have also provided a wonderful opportunity for students to share their thoughts, ideas and opinions while respectfully listening to different perspectives.
In Maths, we have been exploring perimeter and area, applying our understanding to a range of shapes and real-life problems.
Through our Respectful Relationships learning, students have been developing their understanding of help-seeking strategies and discussing ways they can support themselves and others when they need help.
Our Inquiry unit, Politics, Ethics and Decision Making, is also coming to a close. Students have been thinking critically about different perspectives, considering ethical decisions and exploring how decisions can impact individuals and communities.
It has been wonderful to see 5/6B engaging so thoughtfully and enthusiastically across all areas of their learning!
