Jessica Holmes, Captain and Trevor Cain of Duffys Forest RFS with Leigh Hall President of St Ives Pistol Club.

Jessica and Trevor attended the club on Thursday 28th December to inspect the Club's water tanks and receive a donation to support the Brigades efforts during the current fire season.

A Total Fire Ban will be in place tomorrow, Thursday 14 December for the Greater Hunter and Greater Sydney Region areas. Hot, dry and windy conditions are forecast across parts of the state, increasing the fire danger. Know your fire risk and what you will do if fire threatens.

Today we went on the Eliva Fire Boat to get a look at Duffys Forest from the water. We went up as far as Duffys Wharf and did a bit of training with the boats pump.

A big thankyou to West Pittwater Brigade for taking us out on the boat.

We are filled with sadness to hear about the tragic death of a fellow firefighter who was struck by a tree at the Hudson Fire.
