What an incredible day for many of our Year 5 and 6 students who proudly represented Eatons Hill State School at the STEM Challenge Day hosted by Bray Park State High School.
Our students embraced the opportunity to collaborate, problem solve, innovate and challenge themselves throughout the day’s exciting STEM activities. Experiences like these not only build curiosity and creativity, but also inspire our students to think big about their future pathways and possibilities.
A true highlight of the day was an inspiring presentation from Cate Campbell, one of Australia’s greatest Olympians of all time, who has achieved an extraordinary 8 Olympic medals across 4 Olympic Games, including 4 gold medals. She was joined by Brendan Hall, a multiple gold medal winning Paralympian.
Mr Gordon and School Captain Katherine were fortunate to spend some time chatting with Cate and Brendan afterwards and were so impressed by how down to earth, genuine and sincerely interested they were in speaking with our students. The impact conversations like these can have on young people is truly powerful.
Thank you once again to Bray Park State High School for another absolutely “Braymazing” experience for our students! We are so grateful for the wonderful opportunities and partnerships that continue to inspire our learners.
