My Wishes For You All

I pray my children always know their worth,
That they always have self confidence and never feel small.

I pray to God they always know they are protected and loved,
Mommy and Daddy would die for you all,
You are our light and our reason to live this life.

We want you to know …
Do NOT tolerate bad behaviour by people questioning your worth,
Steer clear of toxic people,
Just ‘cause you’re lonely … don’t ever run back to them,
Best walk alone than with people who hurt your soul.

They are not your tribe so leave them in the past,
Move on,
Head held high,
You’re worth your weight in gold.

I just hope my children always have great health,
Lots of laughter, happiness and adventures,
I pray I have taught them well and they have good manners,
Lots of kindness,
A generous spirit but they can save,
For the takers don’t know when to stop,
The givers need to learn when ‘enough is enough!’

I want them to have good boundaries,
Know when to say ‘NO! That is enough!’
I want them to have a great education,
To LOVE learning!
Love learning new skills.

Sing and dance… be merry!
A strong work ethic to get on in life though,
Nobody likes the lazy people,
I don’t want my children to ever be that way,
I want them to be successful in life,
To be able to smile and know they have tried.

I hope they do things they always love,
That they work to live,
Not live to work,
To find a profession that makes them happy and not depressed.

That they find people who love them for them,
Not for what they can bring to the table,
But for what’s in their hearts.

I hope my children get on in life,
But not by cutting people down,
By building them up instead,
Make a bigger table not a higher wall,
Be kind to those less fortunate,
Money was made to go around.

I hope there is always love in their hearts,
Kindness in their souls,
I pray they can cook and clean,
So they always have a happy and loving home.
