Back to training this week on the tools. We finished off a car we've had in the yard for a while, removing the doors, roof and performing a dash roll.

Had a few members testing out some tools to get a feel for how they react against the car. Good to be back into it 🧑

Sadly, a person has died following a serious single vehicle crash on Bridgenorth Road at Legana.

Bridgenorth Road is now re-opened to traffic.

Police and emergency Services are attending a serious crash near 300 Bridgenorth Road, Legana.

One person has sustained serious injuries.

Police have closed Bridgenorth Road from the Legana roundabout to the Bridgenorth Recreational Ground.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Tasmania SES is asking Tasmanians to be prepared for damaging winds across much of the state tomorrow.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Weather Warning for damaging winds in parts of the Furneaux Islands, Western, Upper Derwent Valley, South East, Central Plateau and parts of the North East, East Coast, Midlands, North West and Central North forecast districts tomorrow.

πŸ•– Winds are expected to ease by Wednesday evening.

πŸŽ… Santa has advised the winds will not blow his reindeer off course!

πŸƒ Tasmania SES advises you to be prepared by:
β€’ Securing outdoor items, including furniture and play equipment.
β€’ Supervising children closely.
β€’ Checking that family and neighbours are aware of warnings.
β€’ Managing pets and livestock.
β€’ Being prepared in case of power outages and reporting any outages to TasNetworks on 132 004.
β€’ Beware of damaged trees and power lines, and take care when driving.

Frankford Road, Glengarry is now clear from the earlier crash.

Police and other emergency services remain at the scene of a serious crash at Frankford Road, Glengarry.

The road is expected to remain closed for some time.

Motorists are advised to divert via Biralee Road, Howell Road and Winkleigh Road depending on the direction of travel.
