🎨 Another Holden Street 50th invitation has landed!

This time, we’re thrilled to share the invitation created by Liam, one of the Year 12 students taking part in our Learning for Impact program.

Learning for Impact has been such a wonderful addition to life at Holden Street. Through our partnership with Community Bank Clifton Hill–North Fitzroy, Croxton School and Head Start, students have been given the opportunity to step into a real community setting, build practical and employability skills, and- perhaps most importantly- make a meaningful contribution.

From preparing meals for our food relief program, to caring for our gardens and creating community art, the students have become a valued part of the Holden Street community. We’re incredibly grateful to Community Bank Clifton Hill–North Fitzroy (COMMUNITY BANK CLIFTON HILL - NORTH FITZROY )for helping make this program possible and investing in opportunities that have a genuine local impact.

And while we’re celebrating this wonderful program, it’s also a reminder of what 50 years at Holden Street is really about. ❤️

Over five decades, we’ve had the privilege of delivering so many programs, projects and opportunities that have made a real difference in the lives of local people. Learning for Impact is just one more chapter in that story.

We’re loving seeing each student’s unique take on our 50th invitation- and there are more to come! Keep an eye out for the next one. 👀

And if you haven’t already, consider this your invitation to **come and celebrate 50 years of Holden Street with us!** 🎉

🎉 You're Invited! Celebrate 50 Years of Holden Street Neighbourhood House 🎉

For 50 years, Holden Street Neighbourhood House has been a place of connection, learning, belonging and community. Our story has been written by thousands of people who have walked through our doors- and now it's time to celebrate that story together.

Whether you've volunteered, attended a class, taught a workshop, visited our Food Pantry, joined a playgroup, worked alongside us, or simply been part of our community at any point over the past five decades- this celebration is for you.

✨ On the night we'll proudly launch our 50 Stories from 50 People storytelling project- a heartfelt collection of stories celebrating the people, memories and moments that have shaped Holden Street over the past 50 years. Made possible through the incredible support of , we can't wait to share these stories with you.

We're also thrilled to unveil the first invitation artwork for our celebration, created by Hope, a Year 12 student participating in our Learning for Impact program.

Delivered in partnership with Community Bank Clifton Hill–North Fitzroy ( ), Croxton School and Head Start, Learning for Impact gives senior students with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to build practical life and employment skills through meaningful volunteering. Students contribute to our food relief program, help create welcoming garden spaces and community art projects, and make a real difference to our community.

Hope's artwork is the first in a special series, with each student creating their own unique invitation over the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our page as we proudly showcase their creativity and celebrate the impact of this incredible program.

❤️ Thank you to everyone who has been part of Holden Street's journey over the past 50 years. No matter how big or small your involvement, you've helped shape the welcoming community we know and love today.🏡🥳
