We loved welcoming our Kingsley Dads and special people to celebrate Father’s Day this afternoon! 💗

Our Kingsley Kids had the best afternoon sharing some special time together, with plenty of smiles, laughs and fun. A big thank you to all of our Dads and special people for joining us and making the afternoon so special! 🥰

The school canteen will be open tomorrow, Friday 4th September. If you missed our sushi special, please remember there are lots of other yummy options also available, so something for everyone is on offer!

Orders for lunch can be placed via the QKR App up until 8:45am tomorrow, however we do recommend you place your order earlier to avoid congestion on the app.

If your child is absent and a lunch order has been placed, please remember to contact the office first thing in the morning to enable the lunch order to be held over to a future date.

Any questions regarding allergy information etc... can be directed to Leigh Simpson (Canteen Manager) on 0407 823 799.

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers for our Father's Day stall today. We had some very excited kiddos choosing special gifts. Your efforts in purchasing, preparation and helping our kids out does not go unnoticed, you are the most wonderful community of helpers we could ask for.
We hope our wonderful dads enjoy them as much as our kids had the fun of choosing them.

What a fantastic day it was yesterday, with Kingsley kids representing the school incredibly! ⭐️
They fought hard but always had a smile on their face and cheered and encouraged each other all day. We have 13 kids going through to the next level and another 12 that only just missed out but will be ready to go if they are needed as a replacement🏃🏽‍♀️
A special congratulations goes to Tex and Lachie as they set new District records for the 800m (Tex) and the Long Jump (Lachie). Go Kingsley! 🩷💙🩷

The Father's Day stall will be held tomorrow (Thursday 3rd September) with grades visiting as a group throughout the morning.

Thank you to those families who have pre purchased vouchers - these will be given to your child on the morning of the stall.

Children who do not have pre paid vouchers are welcome to bring along some money to spend and purchase a special gift. We have many special Dads, Step or Bonus Dads, Uncles, Pops, Grand Dads and friends of our Kingsley Kids and the KPG have worked hard to ensure there is enough for everyone.

If your child is bringing cash, the suggested amount to bring for the Father's Day stall is $10. We also recommend money coming to school be in a named envelope for our younger students, which can be handed to the teacher. Small change is always appreciated.

Prizes on offer for the National Water Week competition

Hello,

There's still time for students to enter the National Water Week Poster Competition, but entries close soon.

We hope your students have been busy painting, drawing or designing what the theme Water Heroes: Make Every Drop Count means to them.

Entries close at 5 pm on Friday, 11 September 2026.

If you need any more guidance on tying the theme into your curriculum or ideas for lesson plans, click here.

Who can enter?
Entries are open to kinder through to Year 8 secondary students who can design, draw or paint a poster that demonstrates this year’s theme.
Key dates
• Entries close: 5 pm on Friday 11 September 2026
• Winners announced: National Water Week, 19 to 25 October 2026
• First prize winners from each category will progress to the state competition.

Prizes

Each category winner can receive:
• 1st - $100 gift card
• 2nd - $50 gift card
• 3rd - $25 gift card
All participating schools will be entered into a random draw to win a $500 gift card for their school.
