👜Ask for support for missing bag👜

Hello everyone! We are posting this asking for your help as today during our Food Circle program one of our community members lost their red plastic bag. This was really important as it contained their keys 🔑(attached to a fish keychain🐟) and a bottle with medicine 💊. This is a red bag almost identical to the one on the photograph.

🙌 BIG SHOUTOUT to (PIF) and ! 💙✨

Over the past few weeks, they’ve generously donated brand new furniture to help us create much-needed storage spaces at GYS 🪑📦

Last Wednesday, more than 20 amazing MIRVAC and PIF volunteers came together to:

🔧 Assemble furniture
📦 Reorganise our storage rooms
🎶 Refresh our music studio

And this is only the beginning! 💪 PIF will continue supporting us by connecting GYS with tradespeople for maintenance work and other organisations that can help us continue improving and “pimping up” our space 🛠️🏠✨

This support will make a huge difference to our day-to-day operations and help us provide even better spaces, services, and experiences for the young people and families in our community ❤️

Hi everyone!

We will be trialling an updated 🎫 ticket system for the Food Market 🍇🍅 starting tomorrow, Thursday 7 May.

Tickets will be issued from 11:00 AM onwards on a first come, first served basis. Once you receive your ticket, 🙅‍♂you do not need to wait outside the service—you are encouraged to leave and return at 1:00 PM to keep your place in line👍.

This approach is designed to help us reduce crowding and help create a safer, more respectful environment for everyone. We ask for your cooperation.🙏

We will be trialling this over the next few weeks, and we welcome your feedback.

🔥 Term 2 2026 is HERE at Glebe Youth Service! 🔥

🎉We're back with food, fun, and good vibes — and we want to be real with you. GYS is going through some changes this term, which means a few of our programs look a little different. But we're still showing up, working hard, and making sure there's still something for you every week 💪

Here's what's on:
🎨 Girlzone (women 12–18) on TUESDAYS!
🏀 Boyzone (men 12–18) on THURSDAYS!
🎮 Teentime (teens 12–18) on WEDNESDAYS!
🔥 Community BBQs (All Ages) once a month due to capacity - but they're still happening! Check flyer to dates
🌙 After Dark (teens 12–18) on FRIDAYS!
🌙 After Dark (all ages) on SATURDAYS!

💙This term Boyzone is merging with the First Nations Boys Program and will be on THURSDAYS.

We're working hard to bring more cultural activities into everything we do this term - and to bring back more programs in Term 3. Watch this space 👀

Check them out for a fun filled season of learning, growing, and eating (because, let's be real, food is the best part)!

Just a heads up that our service will be closed from Saturday 25 April and will reopen on Tuesday 28 April for the ANZAC long weekend.

This means After Dark won't be running this Saturday.
