Coming to the Glengarry Market today? Make sure to avoid parking in front of our station (including the grass area between the footpath and the station) to allow our volunteer firefighters room to park in case of a callout. Please also avoid driving into the station driveway to leave the way clear for our trucks and firefighters.

Gippys Girls Can: Glengarry Run Club x MDYPT Event! 🏃‍♀️💜

Ready to get moving at your own pace in a fun, supportive space? As part of Gippy Girls Can Month, we're hosting a free community event for local women to connect, move, and feel confident!

Whether you're walking, running, or just coming along to meet friendly faces, everyone is welcome—no experience needed, no judgment, and no pressure.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 19th September

Time: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM (Please arrive at 7:45 AM)

Location: Platform 3854 Cafe, Glengarry

Cost: FREE!

What to Expect:

2.5km and 5km run/walk options (move completely at your own pace)

Dogs on leads and prams are warmly welcome! 🐶👶

Chat to MDYPT about all things fitness, health, and wellbeing

What to Wear:
Wear whatever feels good and helps you move with confidence—comfortable clothing and runners!

🚦 Road Safety Upgrades Are Coming to Glengarry – Let’s Use This Funding for Our Community!

Latrobe City Council has secured support through the Safe Local Roads and Streets Program to upgrade road safety across our local towns—including right here in Glengarry!

These upgrades focus on protecting our families, pedestrians, and drivers through:
pedestrian priority crossings (including raised crossings)
Traffic calming treatments to lower crash risks
Safer intersection designs and speed management

💡 We have dedicated funding available to make our local streets safer—let’s make sure we use every bit of it and shape it to fit Glengarry’s needs!
