One of our founding members Noel, is moving overseas later this month. So what do you give an ex butcher... a cutting board. Noel has been the backbone of the shed since its inception. Always one of the first members in to get the shed ready for the day. One of the best BBQ guys around the first help where he can. He volunteers with a number of other businesses here on the coast oncluding Southport RSL Sub branch and Bowls Club. We all wish Noel our best in his move.

Last night was the Bunnings Easter Family night. We manned a stall and ran the BBQ. A massive thanks to Cathy at Bunnings Warehouse Australia for running the event. As always the Ashmore Men's Shed smashed the best Bunnings Sausages. Thanks to Peter, Peter and Eric for running the BBQ.

We’re thrilled that international pop icon and our podcast host John Paul Young (JPY) will join us for the Shedder’s Dinner & National Shed Awards on Thursday 26 March in Brisbane.
