YEAR 3-6 ASSEMBLY // Another great Year 3–6 GROW Well Assembly yesterday!

The Gumtrees had everyone smiling with their performance of Itsy Bitsy Teeny We**ie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, showcasing the hard work and enthusiasm they bring to choir each week.

We also recognised our GROW Well Award recipients for demonstrating our school values and celebrated the positive contributions they make to our school community.

Students reflected on the character strength of leadership, discussing how leadership can be shown through everyday actions, setting a positive example and supporting others.

Congratulations to our award recipients, choir members and all students involved in today's assembly. Well done!

GROW WELL - TEAMWORK // We are all part of a range of teams, including family, class, school and sometimes clubs. Building our Character Strength of Teamwork can look like taking responsibility, communicating respectfully and honestly, and encouraging other members of your team.

Working with others is such a valuable skill, we can achieve so much more with a team than we can alone. Swipe to see some ways you can help build the strength of Teamwork with your child.

UNDER 8'S DAY // We are excited to celebrate Under 8’s Day on Thursday 25 June as we join in this year’s theme, Celebrating 70 Years of Under 8’s.

Our youngest learners will enjoy a morning filled with play-based activities, creativity, exploration and fun as we recognise the importance of learning through play in the early years.

We look forward to celebrating together and sharing a wonderful morning of learning and fun with our students.

MET EAST TRIALS // Congratulations to the four students Annabel, River, Lucie, and Diogo who proudly represented Riverside Rays at the Met East trials on Tuesday.

With the lead-up of rainy days, the course was slippery and at times challenging to navigate. Despite the conditions, all students did an amazing job representing themselves, our school, and their zone with great effort and sportsmanship.

A special congratulations to Annabel for her outstanding achievement in being selected for the Met East team. We are incredibly proud of you all!
