The Department of Transport and Planning has published the Final Scoping Requirements for the Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal Environment Effects Statement (EES).

The Scoping Requirements set out the proposed specific matters to be investigated and documented in the EES.

The Final Scoping Requirements have been updated following two rounds of public comment (November – December 2024 & September 2025).

Now that the Final Scoping Requirements have been published, Port of Hastings Corporation will review and implement the Scoping Requirements to inform preparation of our Environment Effects Statement (EES).

The Final Scoping Requirements can be accessed at: https://www.planning.vic.gov.au/environmental-assessments/browse-projects/referrals/victorian-renewable-energy-terminal
