Hawkesbury Artists & Artisans Trail The Hawkesbury has long been known as a home for Artists and Artisans and so HAAT was created to showcase some of our amazing local talent.

For the Artists, Artisans and supporters of the HAAT, who would like to keep in touch, learn more about our Members and see their work before meeting us in our studios and galleries on the Trail. Each year our major event on the last weekend in August we have an Open Studio Weekend. You are invited to visit the Studios, Galleries and Shopfronts of our members both through the year. The trail inclu

des the work of some of the regions best-known Artists and Artisans. Showcasing a diverse range of art forms including Painting, Printmaking, Jewellery, Sculpture, Photography, Mosaics and more. Come and explore the galleries, visit the studios, meet the Artists and Artisans, have an opportunity to purchase affordable fine art direct, learn more about their art and watch them create. Some of our talented members hold regular classes and workshops for beginners to advanced students, so why not come along and explore your creative side. A Special One Day Open Studio will be on at Little River Art Studios
108 Grose Wold Road, Grose Wold on Sunday 12th April 2026. 10am – 4pm

HAAT Member Jeanette Starr- Celebrating Two Awards at the Royal Easter Show!

We are excited to share that Jeanette Starr has received two awards this year at the Royal Easter Show!

Jeanette's oil painting “Heading West” was awarded The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Art Prize, presented by the RAS President, for the best Rural Subject painted in a Traditional style.

As well as a Highly Commended in Figurative Painting with oil painting “Best Buddies”.

Congratulations Jeanette! And make sure you head down to the Show this year! 🥳🎉🎨
