Next Hike Tribe Adventure: The You Yangs! 🥾🌿

We’re heading to the You Yangs on Saturday 17 October for a fun 13km loop through one of Victoria’s most unique landscapes.

Expect rocky trails, granite boulders, a bit of easy scrambling and a climb to Flinders Peak, the highest point in the You Yangs at 343m. And yes, the views from the top are absolutely worth the climb!

Change of plans this Saturday! 🥾

Our fortnightly Hike the Yarra is moving to the Dandenong Ranges this weekend!

We’ll be following an 8km loop through the beautiful eastern side of the Dandenong Ranges, taking you through towering eucalyptus forests and lush, dense rainforest typical of this stunning area. 🌿🌳

The hike is still beginner friendly, but it’s a little hillier than our usual Yarra Bend route, so we may take around 30 minutes longer to complete the loop.

As always, come as you are and enjoy a morning out in nature with the community. 💚

One small change though: our furry friends will have to stay home this time

We are back with our Walking Therapy Session #2! 🌿💚

Our first session was such a beautiful success that Jo Woods and I are bringing it back on Saturday 8 August.

This is more than just a walk. It's a chance to slow down, reconnect with yourself, spend time in nature and experience the powerful combination of mindful walking and therapeutic guidance. Together, we'll explore awareness, acceptance and compassion through a gentle, guided journey designed to leave you feeling calmer, lighter and more connected.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, looking for space to reflect, or simply wanting to experience the healing power of nature, this session is for you.

Let me clarify a thing or two about Hiking Therapy, because I truly believe everyone can benefit from this experience.

Firstly, it's incredibly inclusive. The trail walk is easy and suitable for beginners. You'll feel completely immersed in nature, even though we're only 4km from the city.

Secondly, this intentional walk is woven with awareness practices that studies have shown can have significant benefits for mental wellbeing, particularly in quieting an overactive mind and restoring mental clarity.

specialises in these therapeutic practices and will guide you through four carefully designed exercises throughout the walk to help you slow down, reconnect, and gain clarity.

Join our Hiking Therapy event, a beginner-friendly and inclusive experience where no prior hiking or therapy experience is required. Simply arrive with an open mind, and we'll guide you through a series of mindful walking practices.

Led by Hike Tribe in partnership with the therapist Jo Woods , they will gently guide participants through evidence-based practices designed to reduce stress, calm the mind, and create space for your thoughts.

We’re launching Hiking Therapy: a guided experience that combines walking, nature, and simple therapeutic practices to help you clear your head and reset.

Built in collaboration with (therapist & relationship coach), we’ve combined hiking, nature, movement, and simple therapeutic practices into one guided experience.

This is not a fitness hike, it’s a structured, spacious experience designed to help you step out of the noise and into clarity.
