We have finalised names for our Yarning Circle. We will be using the names of the Mamu language. For the Cassowary it is Gumbugan - pronounced - Gum-bu-gun. For the wallaby Barrgan - pronounced - Bud-a-gun. Thank you to the Mamu Rangers for visiting yesterday and teaching the students the correct pronunciation. We hope to add more animals from our area to the Yarning Circle. Please keep a look out for the Kookaburra coming soon.
