It was wonderful to be invited to attend the Reintegration Networking Hub at Southern Queensland Correction Precinct in Lockyer Valley thanks to Queensland Corrective Services.

It was good to see services from across the region attend to share information to women due for release soon.

Thank you Erin for the great work done by your team!!

There will be a Cultural Liaison Officer position available soon so will post that when it is advertise. The women appreciate knowing what supports are available upon release.

A message from Mob 4Mob - QLD: State Peak for First Nations People with Disabilities

We have an opportunity for our Mob to help shape something important, and we want YOU to be part of it.

We're looking for:
👉🏽First Nations people with intellectual
disability
👉🏽Families, carers and community
members
👉🏽Advocates and people with lived
experience.

We're bringing people together for 3–4 small, relaxed yarning and co-design sessions, kicking off in just a couple of weeks!

We want to hear what works, what doesn't, and what culturally safe self-advocacy should actually look like for our communities.

You don't need to be an expert. Your lived experience and cultural knowledge are the expertise we're looking for!

Because decisions about our Mob should never be made without our Mob.
