First Aid for New Drivers

A few minutes of learning could make all the difference in an emergency.

St John WA's free online First Aid for New Drivers course teaches essential first aid skills that can be used in the critical minutes following a crash, before emergency services arrive.

The course takes just 15-45 minutes to complete and is particularly suited to young drivers aged 17-20.

Have you moved?

To ensure you receive your 2026/27 rates notice on time, please make sure your postal address details are up to date with the Shire by Tuesday 4 August 2026.

Rates notices are expected to be issued in late August. If your mailing address has changed and has not been updated, your notice may be sent to the wrong address.

Please note that it is the responsibility of property owners to keep their contact details current. Non-receipt of a rates notice does not exempt ratepayers from their obligation to pay rates by the due date.

The Shire of Jerramungup's Draft Council Plan is now open for public comment.

The Draft Council Plan outlines Council's priorities and direction for the coming years and reflects feedback received from our community through recent engagement activities and surveys. Now is your opportunity to review the plan and provide feedback before it is finalised.

You can view the Draft Council Plan by:
• Downloading a copy via the link below
• Visiting the Shire Administration Office and requesting a copy

All submissions must be made in writing and received by Friday, 21 August 2026. Submissions can be lodged by post to PO Box 92, Jerramungup WA 6337 or by email to [email protected]

Following the public comment period, all feedback will be considered before the final Council Plan is presented to Council for adoption.
