ICAN Jurien Bay ICAN is a group of arts-minded people in the Jurien Bay community. We are passionate about all types of art and bringing it to Jurien Bay.

For enquiries about becoming an ICAN member to receive discounts on art workshops and activities, send us an email. ICAN was established in 2010 through government funding awarded to the Jurien Bay CRC to develop and mentor a new community group to work with arts and culture in the region. In 2011, ICAN was able to step out on its own and become incorporated in September 2013. ICAN aims to help ou

r members by providing art workshops and to promote and support members' artistic endeavors. In addition, we aim to build a strong community-based Arts/Culture Centre in Jurien Bay. ICAN has successfully presented a number of workshops and events. Past workshops include weaving, lantern making, card making, rope making, knitting, zentangles, water colour and acrylic painting, singing, drumming and various art displays. We are working as part of the Interpretive Complex group to establish a museum, as well as permanent homes for ICAN, the Jurien Bay Community Mens Shed and the Lions Club of Jurien Bay. Joining as an ICAN member will give you priority and discounts at workshops; voting rights at meetings and the AGM; input into the future direction of ICAN; and the opportunity to be actively engaged in local arts and culture in Jurien Bay.
