Congratulations to the 'Rouse Runners' who completed their latest running event at the Mudgee Running Festival. Selection students from the 'Run Beyond' project travelled to Mudgee to complete either a 5km or 10km run. A shout out to Mr Casey, Miss Alex, Ms Kendros & Ms King for also completing a run! The students produced wonderful results this year, which saw many students beat their previous run times. Special mention to Natasha B who shaved 25 minutes off her last 10km run and Harry F who completed the 10km run in 34 minutes - this resulted in a 1st place for his age division and a 2nd place overall!

Congratulations to all students who ran! There will be further running events as the year continues and we cannot wait to see how the students continue to strive!

Here's to another successful Science Week at RHHS!

Thanks to all the students who got involved, whether it was adopting a new native tree to take home or making their own lava lamp. Congratulations to the teams who solved the clues to win the Escape Room challenge and those that had the best science knowledge in the Trivia comp.

The week culminated in a teacher bottle-rocket challenge, where the English faculty showed it's not just scientists who can make things fly far!

We want to acknowledge the Science faculty who went above and beyond in providing these activities for our students, and a special shout-out to Teach Rebeira and the student leadership team who made sure every event ran smoothly.

We warmly welcome Jin Jin to the Rouse Hill High School CAPAL faculty.

As part of the welcome, Ms Wang led 7E in a traditional Chinese Lion Awakening Ceremony, a meaningful cultural tradition symbolising good fortune, prosperity and new beginnings. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience and celebrate Chinese culture while welcoming the newest member of our community.
