During my initial tour of the Murrabit Hall, no explanation was given as to why the kitchen was laid out as a mannequin morgue. Hall Committee President, Neil Hopkins even vigorously polished one of them while running through their post show supper plans.

🎤 Laughter echoed through Murrabit Hall! 🎤

What a fantastic night with Damian Callinan, who had the audience roaring with laughter from start to finish. His sharp humour and clever storytelling brought to life memories of times gone by — made even better with local yarns about the old picture nights, debutante balls and even a special celebration of the Coulter's who were married in the Murrabit Hall 49 years ago! 💍

The Hall was filled with smiles, laughter, and that unmistakable Murrabit community spirit. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable evening, and an additional thanks and congratulations to the Murrabit Hall Committee who worked tirelessly in setting up a magnificent display of history and ball gowns to set the theme for the evening 💙😂

🌟 What a night at the Lake Charm Hall! 🌟

Damian Callinan had the crowd in stitches with his hilarious performance — a night full of belly laughs, quick wit, and heartfelt nostalgia. From tales of times gone by to stories shared by locals about the Gay Charmers, The Baulch Brothers, Mystic Melodies, and Cooking Up a Storm community groups, it was a true celebration of Lake Charm’s spirit and history.

Thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy an evening of comedy, connection, and community pride. The laughter (and applause!) echoed through the hall — a reminder of how special nights like this are for our communities. 💚🎭
