Celebration Assembly – we had another Whole School Celebration Assembly today. Lots of students were recognised for their participation and achievements in extra-curricular activities. Again, it highlighted how many students are embracing opportunities and accepting responsibility for their learning in and outside the classroom.

Well done to those who were recognised today and a huge thank you to our student leaders and Mrs Rebecca Glasby for planning and coordinating today’s assembly.

A reminder that this Friday is a statewide professional learning day (student free day) for all DECYP students from Kindergarten to Year 12 💜

That means… no school and the perfect excuse for a little sleep-in! 😴

And the good news doesn’t stop there, Monday is also a public holiday for the King’s Birthday 🎈

Enjoy the extra long weekend!

Grade Based Day (GBD)

Students today were engaged in the GBD which focussed on a series of targeted learning areas and life skills, which will ultimately prepare our young people for the future. From valuing diversity and cultures, building relationships, to preparing for volunteering, casual work or career based studies, it was a highly successful day.
