SA Angler magazine has an article in their current publication which states (in part)......'Cape Jaffa Anchorage Marina is surely one of the best kept secrets in SA..........It has a sizable harbour with dozens of berths for large boats and a first class multi-lane ramp for trailer boats.........This was my first really good look at the Anchorage, and I must say it's extremely impressive.' Thanls guys for using our facilities and for the comments, they are much appreciated.

This year Cape Jaffa Anchorage will again be running the Cape Jaffa Triathlon.

When: Sunday 6th December 2015
Time: 9am for all events
Where: Cape Jaffa Anchorage, Cape Jaffa SA
Course: Mini and Short Distance Events
Ages: 17 through to Open

The Cape Jaffa Team arranged to be part of the Loud Shirt Day for the Cora Barclay Centre. Given that the team wear high vis gear at work every day seems like a Loud Shirt Day but the members dressed to impress with loud ties just to be sure to get the message out.

The tuna are running along the coast in amazing numbers with plenty of locals catching out of Cape Jaffa. Found a good use for the transtank just to show what size they are getting. Not a bad catch.

Check out this beautiful "fogbow" spotted and snapped at the marina in Cape Jaffa this morning. A "fogbow" is a phenomenon similar to a rainbow, produced by sunlight shining on fog. The smaller size water particles found in fog as opposed to rain are the reason for the lack in colour that you see in a normal rainbow.

Two new photos to add to the list. One shows the marina on Saturday - looks a little different today, and the other shows the commercial fleet on the hardstand. The boats look fantastic, and are a lot larger out of the water. Something to come down and look at.
