River Country Adventours was registered in 1993 and was licensed as tour operators in the same year. Within two years the business was in the first twenty tourism operations that became accredited under the new scheme. Almost twenty years later River Country Adventours is a diverse tourism business with canoes and kayaks for hire and safaris along many sections of the Goulburn and Murray Rivers in

Northern Victoria. There is camping, bushwalking, canoeing and fishing available at all times in the Lower Goulburn National Park, near Echuca. The Goulburn River is the longest river in Victoria and is ideal for canoeing for most of the year. Groups small and large are most welcome especially school groups with well organized and caring operators. In addition to the canoeing and camping River Country Adventours arrange spectacular flight tours to the outback to such places as Birdsville, Lake Eyre and the Flinders Ranges. These flight tours are very popular during the cooler months when it is not so hot in the harsh outback regions of Australia.
